Health Ancillary Worker – Services Assistant
Salary $28.53 - $28.82 per hour + 25% casual loading – WHA2. Casual – multiple positions (up to 18 September 2026). Eligibility Open to Everyone.
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Services Assistant to join our health unit team. This role involves providing high‐quality catering and cleaning services, contributing to the highest quality of care to clients, visitors and staff of the Clare Hospital and Kara House Aged Care. Duties include preparation, service and delivery of food to clients, general housekeeping and laundry duties.

* Adaptable to various settings and schedules, with a strong track record of meeting deadlines.
* Capable of maintaining strict confidentiality while performing tasks with general direction and effective communication skills.
Checks & Requirements
* DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check
* National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups (e.g., aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
Immunisation risk for this position is Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances).
