We are looking for an experienced Retail Sales Manager to lead our retail team, drive performance, and contribute to our continued growth and success.
About This Role
As Retail Sales Manager, you will oversee retail sales performance across all store locations.
You will be responsible for driving revenue, profitability, and KPIs, while building a customer-first culture.
This role requires a strong commercial mindset, a passion for people, and the ability to implement strategies that inspire and motivate teams to deliver outstanding results.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue, profitability, and KPIs.
Monitor sales trends, customer feedback, and market conditions to optimise retail strategies.
Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to align product knowledge and promotions with sales initiatives.
Analyse sales data with internal stakeholders to provide insights that improve performance across store locations.
Lead, mentor, and motivate store teams to foster a high-performance culture.
Work closely with store managers to ensure continuous coaching and support for their teams.
Identify recruitment gaps and support the recruitment process alongside People & Culture.
Partner with eCommerce and digital teams to ensure seamless omnichannel customer experiences.
Support in-store events, activations, and community-building initiatives in partnership with marketing.
Optimise staffing and rosters to maximise sales and efficiency while managing wage costs.
Responsible for ongoing management and development of store managers
Ensure all retail stores comply with OH&S regulations in collaboration with People & Culture.
Ensure all team members adhere to brand standards, policies, and operational procedures.
Qualifications
Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably in retail or an omnichannel environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
Track record of achieving sales targets and driving commercial growth
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
Ability to analyse sales data and translate insights into actionable strategies
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences
Comfortable using data and technology to support decision-making
