Quality & Risk Officer – part‐time position at St John of God Warrnambool Hospital. The role supports quality improvement and risk management initiatives, assists with accreditation and licensing requirements, and fosters a proactive culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
* Liaise with caregivers and medical practitioners to promote awareness of the quality improvement cycle and foster a culture of openness within the organisation.
* Assist in maintaining the electronic incident management system and the clinical audit program, ensuring appropriate data capture and system functionality.
* Provide information to key stakeholders to enable informed decision‐making on incidents and audit findings.
* Carry out statistical analysis of audit data and present findings in an appropriate format.
* Participate in benchmarking activities and help produce action plans for performance improvement.
* Provide analysis and reporting to the Hospital Management Committee (HMC), Quality and Risk Manager and Senior Managers on Department of Health audit requirements, Clinical Indicators (ACHS), KPIs, patient feedback and external audits.
* Participate in relevant committees and working groups, reporting and providing relevant data.
Qualifications
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
* Minimum five (5) years of clinical experience.
* Demonstrated understanding, knowledge, expertise and achievement of accreditation and private hospital licensing requirements.
* Conceptual and analytical skills, including the ability to analyse information and produce reports.

* Salary: $117,134 to $123,300 per annum (pro‐rata basis for part‐time), plus 12% superannuation.

Other Information
