Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement robust emergency management plans and systems covering mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery.
* Lead the review of plans, deliver community education sessions, coordinate training exercises and foster strong networks with community partners, all levels of government and emergency service agencies.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in strategy and procedure development, including demonstrated experience working within a highly structured legislative framework.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, influence, foster and maintain networks with key stakeholders and community.
* Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently and effectively independently and with multi-disciplinary groups.
* Experience in development, implementing and monitoring comprehensive training programs.
