Due to continued growth, Arcadis is currently seeking an experienced and well-rounded in-house lawyer to work full-time as Regional Legal Counsel, joining our high-performing Legal, Compliance and Privacy (LCP ) team.
Reporting to the General Counsel (GC ), you will provide support and drive the efficient and effective delivery of legal outcomes to the business.

Your key responsibilities will include: Managing contract reviews and negotiations efficiently on a daily basis.
Providing legal advice and support during project delivery phases and assisting LCP team members with issues during or after project completion.
Supporting the GC and other team members on contentious claims.
Ensuring compliance with LCP processes in reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts, and supporting legal operations and initiatives.
Facilitating and participating in staff training on legal issues, including contract law, conditions, and administration (including Security of Payment legislation).
Developing and maintaining relationships across disciplines and functions, acting as a trusted legal advisor to the wider business.
Qualifications & Experience: 5+ years' experience in contract review and negotiation within construction and/or professional services contracts.
Demonstrated expertise in construction, infrastructure, resources, design, consultancy, or engineering law and projects.
Experience handling disputes and claims related to professional indemnity & public liability.
Proven track record in contract management and administration on major or complex projects.
Degree in Law from an Australian university or recognized legal qualification.
Current practicing certificate.
Strong interpersonal skills with negotiation experience.
Responsive, proactive, curious, and team-oriented attitude.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, responsive, and agile environment.
Experience working with diverse backgrounds and cultures is preferred.
Enthusiasm for learning and developing new skills.
