Peoplecare is seeking an experienced and skilled Procurement & Business Resilience Specialist to elevate our procurement practices and business continuity capabilities. This critical role supports Peoplecare's operational resilience by managing third-party risk, ensuring the continuity of critical operations, and embedding robust supplier governance frameworks. With a strong focus on regulatory alignment, particularly withAPRA Prudential Standard CPS 230, you'll help shape a resilient, future-ready organisation.
About the role
As a Procurement & Business Resilience Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and safeguarding our operational backbone. You'll drive procurement and supplier management with precision, ensuring contract owners and managers align with service provider policies. Your expertise will drive the monitoring and mitigation of third‑party risks, designing and testing controls that uphold our resilience. You'll be hands‑on in executing our business resilience framework, from plan testing to system upkeep especially within Protecht's Third Party and Business Resilience modules. Compliance and regulatory reporting will be second nature, as will engaging stakeholders to foster collaboration and continuous improvement. You'll champion governance, risk, and compliance, embracing APRA standards and cultivating a culture of transparency and learning. Your contributions will fuel innovation, efficiency, and exceptional service, as you support strategic projects, refine systems and processes, and actively participate in change initiatives that elevate our business performance.
What we're looking for
* Proven experience in procurement, supplier management, and compliance
* Experience in identifying and managing risks and controls
* Exposure to business continuity and Protecht systems (a bonus, not a must)
* Experience with APRA would be ideal
* A proactive, trustworthy, and collaborative approach
* Ability to simplify complex info, present clearly, and manage sensitive data
* Strong attention to detail
* High digital literacy and a passion for continuous learning
