Job Description
- Drive B2B Sales: Manage and grow commercial furniture and fit-out sales across WA and SA, targeting sectors such as commercial, government, education, and mining.
- Deliver Tailored Solutions: Provide clients with customised workspace solutions, including ergonomic furniture, acoustic panels, and workstation configurations.
- Consultative Selling: Engage early in clients' planning cycles to offer proactive advice and long-term fit-out strategies.
- Space Planning Expertise: Collaborate with clients to design functional and efficient office layouts that align with their business needs.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with designers, contractors, ergonomists, and internal teams to deliver seamless project outcomes.
- Territory Management: Operate autonomously within your region, supported by a national team and internal infrastructure.
- Pipeline Development: Identify and nurture new business opportunities while managing an existing customer base, with sales cycles ranging from 4 weeks to 6 months.
- Product Knowledge: Educate clients on product differentiation, ergonomics, and the benefits of commercial furniture range.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments including merchandise, operations, and support teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Strategic Growth Support: Contribute to strategic shift from reactive to proactive sales by identifying future-fit opportunities and market trends.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful B2B Sales Professional Should Have
- Proven experience in a sales-focused role within the commercial office furniture industry.
- Robust communication and negotiation skills to secure new business.
- A results-oriented mindset with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in using CRM software to manage client relationships effectively.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
- A valid driver's licence to support travel requirements for the role.
