About the Position:
The Payroll Manager plays a vital role in the Finance function, responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing with precision, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
This is a newly created leadership position that requires strong experience working with payroll systems, comprehensive understanding of payroll procedures and regulations, and proven experience managing a team in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight of timely and accurate fortnightly payroll processing
* Continuously evaluating and streamlining payroll processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
* Monthly report preparation and analysis for key departments
* Management and coaching of a high-performing payroll team
* Regular internal audits of payroll records to ensure accuracy and compliance

* Comprehensive experience with payroll systems
* Excellent understanding of payroll legislative requirements and skilled in award interpretation
* Experience working in an aged care or healthcare environment (highly desirable)
