We’re looking for an Instructional Designer (People Management Enablement) to lead the design, development, and delivery of creative leadership learning programs across our organisation.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with senior leaders, HR partners, and stakeholders to create impactful learning experiences—from eLearning modules and videos to workshops and coaching sessions—that build people management capability and embed leadership behaviours across all levels.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of leadership development programs aligned to organisational capability frameworks.
- Conduct needs analyses and gap assessments to inform program content and ensure relevance.
- Develop engaging, blended learning content using adult learning principles and modern instructional design techniques.
- Facilitate virtual and in-person sessions, including Train the Trainer programs, workshops, and pilot leadership programs.
- Track and evaluate learning outcomes, recommending improvements to ensure programs deliver real behavioural impact.
- Support adoption and engagement of leadership programs through coaching, tools, and internal communication strategies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in instructional design focused on leadership development, ideally in sales or fast-paced organisations.
- Strong knowledge of people management frameworks, behavioural leadership competencies, and capability-based learning.
- Skilled in blended learning design and facilitation, using tools like Articulate Rise, Storyline, Canva, and LMS platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, including the ability to engage senior leaders.
- Agile, adaptable, and able to manage shifting priorities in dynamic environments.
Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Training & Education (TAE) – essential
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, or similar - highly regarded
- Diploma of Training & Assessment – highly regarded
- Graduate certification in leadership/management – highly regarded
