Job Title: Strategic HR Partner
About the Role
The ANU is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Business Partner to join its Information Technology Services Division.
This key role involves providing strategic and operational HR advice and services to stakeholders across the division, ensuring that HR best practices are embedded throughout the organization.
You will partner with stakeholders to provide quality advice and recommendations on areas including workplace relations, performance management, policy and procedure, conflict resolution, and case management.
Your expertise in these areas will enable you to make informed decisions and develop effective solutions to complex HR issues.
This role contributes to university-wide HR initiatives that drive leadership and talent development, culture, employee experience, and future workforce planning across the university.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience providing high-quality customer-focused services to a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing HR advice and guidance to stakeholders
* Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives
* Collaborating with stakeholders to resolve conflicts and manage cases
* Contributing to university-wide HR initiatives and projects
The position reports to the HR Manager (Portfolios) and operates with a high degree of autonomy.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field
* Proven experience in HR advisory and consulting roles
* Strong understanding of HR principles, policies, and procedures
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
