Overview
1. Undertake the role of Chief Human Resources (HR) Officer for the department
2. Establish, lead and manage the service delivery of a broad range of HR functions
3. Provide advice to the Director General and Executive Leadership Group
4. Develop and implement human resources policies, initiatives and programs
5. Participate in the strategic planning and business plans to implement DMPE’s objectives
6. Manage multidisciplined teams to deliver innovative HR management strategies
7. Ensure the department meets its statutory obligations
8. Empower, motivate and develop staff to support a positive organisational culture
9. Contribute to the achievement of department values and objectives in a professional and timely manner
