Location of work: Canberra
Length of contract: 12 months
Contract extensions: 24 months extension (two extensions of twelve months each)
Security clearance: Negative Vetting Level 2 security clearance
Responsibilities
* Undertake technical deliverables as a recognised senior specialist.
* Implement and support Microsoft Server solutions and designs.
* Implement and support virtualised server environments across a global network.
* Understand and implement Citrix solutions in a complex environment.
* Provide end to end technical solutions.
* Assist with system changes, updates, upgrades and relocations.
* High level communication skills.
* Ability to analyse and resolve complex enterprise system hardware and software problems.
* Interface with peer teams and vendors to coordinate solutions.
* Strong coordination and organisational skills with a high attention to detail.
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Microsoft Server versions up to and including Server 2022 in an enterprise environment.
* Demonstrated experience in managing a complex Citrix environment.
* Virtualisation technologies including both VMware and Nutanix technologies, design, build, operating and troubleshooting.
* Experience working in teams to produce quality outcomes.
* The ability to translate technical information to those with a non-technical background.
