Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Director based in Hobart, TAS, with some flexibility for working from home. The Sales Director will lead the sales team, develop and execute sales strategies, and build strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers. Key responsibilities include identifying growth opportunities, analyzing market trends, driving revenue growth, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals. The role requires regular engagement with customers both locally and internationally, ensuring the highest standards of customer service and satisfaction.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in sales strategy development, business growth, and revenue management
* Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to manage wholesale and retail partnerships effectively
* Leadership and team management skills to guide and motivate the sales team
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Ability to analyze market trends and implement data-driven sales strategies
* Experience in the equine or sporting goods industry is a plus
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
* Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools is highly desirable
