About the Role
Redland recently acquired the licence for the Dori variety of gold kiwifruit and is now launching the Dori program across South West WA. This role provides technical and logistical support across the initiative, with a focus on high-quality data collection, post-harvest maturity sampling, and structured documentation. The role is part of Redland Premium Fruit's technical program and works under the guidance of the Group Agronomic Innovation Manager. This hybrid role requires frequent travel to grower sites across South West WA. It is offered on a casual basis, with the potential to transition to full-time.
Role Responsibilities
* Data Collection & Monitoring: Tag vines and log overlap; measure fruit; assist with trial work; conduct field audits
* Visual Documentation: Capture progress photos and videos for forecast models; sampling records or maturity QA
* Grower Visits: Take notes and manage material handover during Dori grower field visits; distribute SOPs; follow up on field implementation
* Post Harvest Sampling & QA Support: Collect and courier fruit samples; assist with trial set up and logistics; support QA monitoring of fruit
* Admin and Trial Coordination: Prepare sampling kits, trial packs and tracking tools; track grower engagement; support in accurate record keeping
* Off-season Responsibilities: Data organisation; reporting; preparation for the upcoming season's trials
Skills & Experience
* Highly organised with experience in coordinating logistics
* Practical, reliable and proactive in nature
* Comfortable with administration tasks including data entry and record-keeping
* Excellent communication skills
* Prior experience in farming, packhouse or harvest logistics is desirable
* Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel across sites
