Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our fleet management team in ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable operation of our vehicle fleet. This is a pivotal role that underpins the critical delivery of services across our network.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of fleet management, from acquisition and utilisation through to maintenance, replacement planning and compliance. With a focus on safety, sustainability and operational continuity, this role offers the opportunity to lead improvements in fleet policy and practice.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A solid foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of fleet management and operations.
* Strong experience in fleet operations and management, including vehicle acquisition, maintenance, disposal, and overall portfolio oversight.
* Proficient in corporate financial and administrative systems, with hands-on experience using fleet management and telematics platforms to support operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
* Strong knowledge of the motor vehicle, fleet, and freight transport industries, with proven ability to engage effectively with suppliers, dealers, manufacturers, government bodies, contractors, and service providers.
