Senior Consultant Role
This is a senior-level position that involves working in a high-performing team to provide strategic and tactical advice to clients through all stages of the sale or purchase of a business or asset.
* Be involved in all stages of the transaction process from deal origination through to completion, including preparation of marketing materials, buyer research, valuation analysis, and due diligence preparation and coordination.
* Prepare industry research and market mapping to assist in identifying potential new clients or targets for private equity and corporate buyers.
* Assist in building financial data books and analysing financial models.
* Contribute to engagement planning and project management ensure that deliverables meet the project timetable.
* Build strong client relationships and engage with transaction stakeholders and advisers.
To be considered for this role you must have:
* Two to five years' full-time work experience, preferably in a professional services environment, including one to two years prior transaction experience (due diligence or M&A).
* Bachelor level academic qualification(s) in accounting, commerce, finance or law.
* Strong numeracy and written and verbal communication skills.
* A positive attitude, curiosity to learn and desire to contribute to a highly motivated team.
* Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
* The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
