A national security agency team is looking for Procurement Officers to join a high-profile team.

A large Government Department responsible for national security that delivers high profile programs and policies that maintain Australia's law and justice framework. As a Federal Agency, this Procurement team works within a legislative and regulatory environment.
**Your new role**
Our client is looking for experienced and knowledgeable procurement officers who are driven to deliver high-quality outcomes within national security policy settings. Your new role will see you a growing and established team that will sit within the procurement property and contracts team and work in a strong partnership with a policy team working to deliver outcomes Your new role will see you responsible for:
- Working closely with stakeholders to provide procurement and grants policy guidance and support
- Leading and assisting with expert advice relating to the market and High Risk, High Value procurements
- Procurement related reporting and oversight of corporate panels and contracts
- Assisting with preparation of RFQ on AusTender
- Document review including Spending Proposals, Procurement Plans, Approach to Market documentation, PGPA S23(3) Delegate approvals, contracts/work orders and risk assessments

**What you'll need to succeed**
As well as being an experienced Procurement professional you may also have the following skills:
- Certificate IV in Government (Procurement & Contracting).
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills with the ability to write persuasively but succinctly in plain English.
- Ability to foster strong working relationships with colleagues & suppliers.
- Understand and have the ability to execute government procurement processes.
- A flexible attitude with expert project management skills who can quickly pivot to changing and challenging environments.
- You will comply with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules, the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 and Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Rules 2014
- As well as the above you must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to hold a baseline security clearance.
