Investment Capital raising Fund management Head of business development Head of Business Development-Fund Management The primary purpose of this role will be responsible for raising capital and originating, cultivating, and managing relationships with investors, including high-net-worth individuals, family offices, wealth managers and institutional partners. Role and responsibilities: Lead fundraising initiatives for funds and investment vehicles. Develop and execute a business development strategy focused on HNWIs, family offices, and institutional investors Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective investors through networking, referrals, and events Collaborate with internal investment teams to develop a deep understanding of the firm's products and effectively communicate this to prospective investors. Oversee investor communications, pitch materials, and due diligence processes Help shape the firm's brand and market positioning within the investment community What you'll need to succeed 7 years of experience in funds management, private wealth, investment banking, or private markets Demonstrated track record of raising capital or managing investor relationships in Australia and/or Asia Extensive existing network of HNWIs, family offices, and wealth platforms Deep understanding of financial products, fund structures, and investor preferences Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work autonomously in a boutique firm environment The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in capital raising, strong strategic relationship-building skills and the ability to communicate fund strategies through compelling and investor-focused narratives.
