The ideal candidate demonstrates a robust passion for conservation and land management, actively participates in prescribed burning, fuel reduction, and bushfire management activities, and possesses a reasonable level of fitness, with the ability to hike long distances.
Key Responsibilities:

- Possesses a reasonable level of fitness, with the ability to hike long distances.
- Effectively manages small projects, ensures compliance, and performs a variety of natural and cultural resource management tasks.
- Displays excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
- Provides support to the Ranger-in-Charge of the Carnarvon National Park management unit.
- Supervises a work group to complete tasks and achieve project outcomes.
- Demonstrates the ability to mentor, support, and share skills with a diverse group of individuals.
