The Opportunity
We are seeking a Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of a land lease residential community based in Yarrawonga.
This is a hands-on operational leadership role with a strong administrative and financial focus. You will ensure high standards of service delivery, compliance and resident satisfaction, while establishing structured systems and processes to support long-term operational success.
The role operates Monday to Friday, with flexibility required for occasional community events or resident meetings.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily site operations, ensuring safety, presentation and functionality
* Manage maintenance programs for communal areas and infrastructure
* Maintain accurate operational records, inspections and service schedules
* Oversee invoicing, collection and monitoring of resident site fees
* Manage arrears and provide clear financial reporting on fee status
* Assist in preparing and monitoring operational budgets and expenditure
* Coordinate contractors and service providers, ensuring WHS compliance
* Act as the primary operational contact for residents, managing enquiries professionally
* Support sales and settlements, including pre-settlement inspections and move-in coordination
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance
About You
* Proven experience in a Community Manager, Village Manager or Operations Manager role within land lease communities or retirement living is preferred
* Otherwise we will also consider similar operational roles in a resort or hotel setting, or someone in a strong administrative and customer focused role in the Retirement sector
* Strong administrative and financial management capability, plus reporting and compliance processes
* Highly organised, detail-oriented and structured
* Confident managing contractors and operational systems
* Professional, approachable and solutions-focused
