Occupational Therapy Team Leader - Darwin
At Cameron Wellness Centre, we are a Supply Nation and NDIS-registered provider committed to closing the gap in allied health access particularly for First Nations people and regional and remote communities across Australia.
As we continue to strengthen and expand our Northern Territory footprint, we are seeking an Occupational Therapy Team Leader to lead our Darwin-based Occupational Therapy team within a growing multidisciplinary NT division, supporting service delivery across Darwin and remote and regional areas of the Territory.
This is more than a traditional Team Leader role. It is an opportunity to influence culture, drive clinical excellence, support workforce development, and help shape the future of allied health service delivery in the Territory.
Whether you are an experienced Team Leader or a Senior Occupational Therapist ready to step confidently into formal leadership, this role offers exposure to regional-level strategic influence, genuine impact across the Northern Territory, and structured support within a growing multidisciplinary division.
The Opportunity
* Provide clinical and operational leadership to a growing OT team
* Deliver structured supervision, mentoring and performance support
* Maintain a reduced clinical caseload focused on quality and complexity
* Support culturally responsive service delivery across remote NT communities
* Collaborate with Regional and Senior Leadership to strengthen systems, compliance and clinical standards
* Contribute to service innovation and workforce development initiatives
* You will report directly to the Regional Manager and be supported by the executive leadership team, working collaboratively across Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Psychology and Allied Health Assistance within a growing multidisciplinary framework.
About You
* You are:
* A fully registered Occupational Therapist (AHPRA)
* An experienced Senior OT or existing Team Leader
* Confident leading performance conversations and supporting clinician growth
* Commercially aware and comfortable balancing KPIs with quality outcomes
* Passionate about culturally safe, strengths-based practice
* Energised by remote, regional and community-focused work
* Experience working with First Nations communities or in regional/remote contexts will be highly regarded.
