Overview
Join our team as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) at Boeing Defence Australia, supporting the P-8A program at RAAF Base Edinburgh. This role involves hands-on maintenance, modifications, servicing, inspections, testing and fault-finding on aircraft systems to keep aircraft mission-ready.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the MRO team to ensure efficient task completion.
Ensure compliance with DASR Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) regulations.
Foster effective communication and coordination with Boeing, customers, and industry teams.
Apply Quality Assurance procedures, adhere to aircraft maintenance/modification operating procedures, and maintain meticulous documentation.
Maintain a positive and proactive approach to Environmental Health & Safety for all personnel.
What You Will Bring To BDA
Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical).
Australian citizenship to meet Defence security requirements.
Current driver's licence.
Desirable
Previous experience working with Military aircraft.
Hold a CASA or DASA Maintenance Licence.
