You’ll contribute to a culture of continuous learning through mentoring and initiatives like ‘Tech Time Fridays,’ while working flexibly from our South Eveleigh office, with in-office days on Tuesdays and Fridays.Role OverviewThis role blends tech, product, and purpose, building scalable data pipelines, shaping insights, and lifting data maturity. You’ll work cross-functionally to support Kit’s mission of making money make sense for kids, driving high-impact, sustainable solutions in a fast-paced scale-up environment.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and implement data pipelines in distributed data platforms including warehouses, databases, data lakes and cloud lake houses.Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse and translate requirements to technical implementation.Deliver data engineering solutions aligned to core concepts of data design, preparation, transformation, and load.Design and develop highly reliable and scalable data pipelines and data platforms with comprehensive test coverage.Identify and drive opportunities for continuous improvement within the team and in delivery of products.Produce high quality, sustainable solutions to meet business requirements, leveraging approved delivery frameworks and by applying industry best practice.Provide mentoring and technical assistance to other members of the team, including software engineers and data analysts.Provide technical governance of product delivery to ensure successful delivery and adoption.We are interested to hear from people who have experience inBrings empathy for our core audience (parents of children aged 5–14), either through personal experience or through building products for this demographic.Proven track record of embedding a data-driven mindset across cross-functional teams, using data effectively to uplift decision-making, business outcomes, and overall data maturity.Hand-on experience through all stages of SDLC.
