The Department
Ngamai Wilam is a newly built 12-bed residential eating disorder treatment facility in Armadale, opening in May 2025. Funded by the Australian Federal and Victorian Governments, it offers 24/7 trauma-informed, recovery-focused care for adults aged 18+, in a gender-inclusive, therapeutic environment emphasizing family and person-centered recovery.
The Role
As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM), you will:
* Provide clinical leadership and foster an inclusive, collaborative environment
* Lead clinical handovers with transparent, strengths-based communication
* Promote recovery-oriented practice and continuous service improvement
* Work with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic, evidence-informed support for participants
Qualifications and Experience
* Registered Nurse with AHPRA
* Postgraduate qualifications in mental health nursing
* Experience in mental health residential care and dialogical practice
* Experience working with individuals with eating disorders
* Australian working rights, Victorian Driver's License, Working with Children Check, and Background Check
