Occupational Therapist Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. This role will involve working with individuals in the NDIS and Community sectors to identify their functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing individualised treatment plans and intervention strategies to maximise independence, functional capacity, and quality of life. They will also provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions and collaborate with clients, their families, and a multidisciplinary team to develop person-centered care plans and ensure holistic support.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals in the NDIS and Community sectors to identify their functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
* Develop individualised treatment plans and intervention strategies to maximise independence, functional capacity, and quality of life.
* Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
* Collaborate with clients, their families, and a multidisciplinary team to develop person-centered care plans and ensure holistic support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to enhance daily living skills, cognitive abilities, mobility, and self-care.
* Provide education and support to clients, caregivers, and support workers to enhance their understanding of occupational therapy interventions.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
* Stay informed about the latest research, best practices, and regulatory changes within the NDIS and Community sectors.
* Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.
Requirements:
* A Degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent).
* Current APHRA registration.
* A valid Australian driver's license.
