About Our Resort Guest Services Team
As a member of our team, you will be at the heart of our island resort providing guests with friendly and outstanding service from the moment they arrive.
* Welcoming guests upon arrival to the resort and delivering exceptional customer service throughout their stay
* Checking in house guests and promoting resort services/activities to enhance guest experiences
* Coordinating reservation enquiries and bookings via online systems, phone calls and emails
* Providing porter services such as transporting luggage to and from resort rooms and transfer vessels, communicating with vessels over the radio regarding arrival times and requirements, and ensuring vessels and gangways are safely secured to ensure guest safety
* Working collaboratively to deliver exceptional guest experiences
Main Responsibilities:
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
* Willingness to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
* Ability to commute daily from Cairns to Green Island via Catamaran, plus staying overnight on the island for up to 2 nights per week
