Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Trainer in Heavy Vehicle Licensing to join our team at a nationally respected centre in Wodonga. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about driver professionalism and heavy vehicle safety.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality training and assessments in line with VicRoads requirements. You will work closely with students to address their training needs and support administrative tasks.
You will be responsible for:
* Delivering specialist training and assessment that meets required competencies and service standards.
* Supporting and monitoring students to ensure timely completion of training and assessments.
* Working independently to meet training priorities and delivery deadlines.
* Maintaining accurate and confidential training records in line with standards and regulations.
* Conducting training in a safe environment following TAFE policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:
* A Heavy Vehicle Licensing Certificate III and/or 5 years substantial experience in the Heavy Vehicle Industry.
* A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or willingness to obtain one.
* The ability to undertake a pre-employment medical based on the inherent requirements of the position as outlined in the Critical Physical Factors document.
* A Current Australian Heavy Vehicle Driver Licence.
