Sugar Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Transformation Manager to drive strategic and operational change across our Yarraville VIC manufacturing site. This full time
2 year fixed term
role, reports to the General Manager, Operations and is based in Yarraville VIC.
In this role, you will lead the implementation of our Yarraville Transformation Program, working closely with site leadership, engineering and operational teams to deliver meaningful and lasting change. You'll focus on building capability, driving cultural transformation, and improving systems and processes. You'll also support the delivery of capital and reliability projects, helping embed new ways of working and ensure sustainable improvements across the site.
What you'll be doing:
As the Transformation Manager, you'll lead initiatives that improve reliability, efficiency, capability and culture across the site. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Driving the implementation of the Yarraville Transformation Program, ensuring alignment with site priorities and business objectives.
* Championing a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement through effective change leadership.
* Leading and supporting the delivery of key Business Continuity Plans and capital projects on time and within budget.
* Partnering with site leads to deliver reliability, energy efficiency and yield improvement initiatives.
* Coaching, influencing and mentoring site leaders and frontline teams to build change readiness, capability and resilience.
* Embedding standardised ways of working and improved governance across operational and maintenance processes.
* Supporting the rollout of new quality management systems and internal audit processes.
* Collaborating with People & Culture to support the Yarraville leadership team's Culture Action Plans and site engagement initiatives.
* Monitoring project performance, risks and benefits to ensure measurable and lasting outcomes.
What you'll bring:
We're looking for a results driven change leader who thrives in complex manufacturing environments and knows how to turn strategy into action through collaboration, coaching and influence. You'll bring:
* Tertiary qualification in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or Science. Relevant experience will also be considered in place of formal qualifications.
* Proven experience leading transformation and change within FMCG or food manufacturing.
* Strong understanding of project governance, capital project delivery and maintenance planning.
* Demonstrated experience in change management methodologies (Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter or equivalent).
* Strong influencing skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across technical, operational and leadership levels.
* Excellent communication, facilitation and coaching skills with a passion for developing others.
* Experience navigating EHS, GMP, Food Safety and Quality Management Systems (e.g. HACCP, GMP, ISO).
