About The Role

This opportunity covers our Afternoon Shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM Monday to Friday.


Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct extraction procedures and tasks per ALS Quality Work Instructions, ensuring QA/QC compliance.
* Organize tasks for daily efficiency and meet set timelines and standards.
* Report anomalies in results or samples to Supervisor.
* Maintain housekeeping, calibrate equipment, and perform calculations for analyses.
* Manage consumable stock and assist with additional duties.
* Use calibrated equipment and follow ALS quality procedures.
* Comply with ALS HSE policies, state OHS legislation, and safety manual.
* Ensure lab safety, report compliance issues, and promote safety culture.


Requirements:

* Tertiary education (a degree or diploma preferred).
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* High level attention to detail.
* Good chemical knowledge.
* Ability to work autonomously or in a team.
* Ability to plan and organise work.
* Judgement and problem-solving skills.
* Positive attitude to safety requirements.
* Appropriate level of aptitude on the tests allocated
