About the opportunity
Based in their Hobart office, you will join a passionate Civil team, leveraging your technical expertise to deliver critical civil infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on the water sector. This isn't just a design role; you'll be a leader and a mentor.
Key Responsibilities Include :
* Leading the delivery of complex water sector projects, including design documentation, technical reports, and specifications.
* Acting as Project Manager and Lead Designer for civil projects across municipal, authority, commercial, and marine sectors.
* Preparing fee proposals, managing project resources, and ensuring projects are delivered on scope, budget, and time.
* Building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders.
* Mentoring junior engineers and technical staff, actively contributing to team development.
About you
This role will be ideal for someone that has previously demonstrated experience in water engineering and has a minimum of 10 years post graduate experience in civil / water engineering.
An attractive salary, including a company will be offered to the successful candidate, as well as relocation assistance, should you be moving to Hobart from Interstate.
To be considered for this position you must;
* Hold a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
* Hold CPEng Chartered Status or the ability to obtain
* Have a minimum of 10 years experience
* Be confident in the design and delivery of water sewer infrastructure and stormwater projects
* Strong verbal and written skills
