About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing Manager to take ownership of the firm's digital marketing activities, including performance marketing, social media, and SEO, for a growing professional services firm.
This is a senior, hands-on role suited to a commercially minded marketer who is comfortable working closely with leadership, managing external specialists, and ensuring marketing activity translates into meaningful business outcomes.
This is a part-time role of two days per week initially, with the intention to transition to a full-time position within six months.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and optimise performance marketing activity, with a primary focus on paid digital channels.
* Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements to efficiency and outcomes.
* Ensure paid activity aligns with broader marketing and business priorities.
Content Oversight
* Manage the firm's social media presence across relevant platforms.
* Oversee content planning, posting schedules, and engagement.
* Ensure messaging and tone are consistent with the firm's brand and positioning.
* Coordinate internal or external contributors as required.
* Manage and oversee the external SEO consultant.
* Set priorities, review performance, and ensure SEO activity aligns with business objectives.
* Monitor website performance and recommend improvements to structure, content, and user experience.
Analytics & Reporting
* Track and report on key marketing and performance metrics.
* Provide clear, concise updates to the CEO on what is working, what is not, and why.
* Use data to inform prioritisation and decision-making.
Agency Management
* Manage external marketing agencies and specialist vendors, including paid media and SEO providers.
* Hold partners accountable for delivery, performance, and value.
* Recommend changes to spend, scope, or suppliers where required.
Internal Collaboration
* Work closely with leadership and client-facing teams to support client acquisition and engagement.
* Align marketing activity with broader business priorities.
* Improve coordination between marketing initiatives and operational delivery.
About You
* Proven experience as a Marketing Manager, ideally within a professional services, legal, accounting, medical, or similarly regulated environment.
* Strong understanding of performance marketing, social media, and SEO.
* Comfortable managing external consultants and agencies.
* Commercially aware, organised, and outcomes focused.
* Able to operate autonomously while working closely with senior stakeholders.
* Clear communicator with strong attention to detail.
