Overview
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team.
Requirements
Successful applicants must have at least:
Certificate III including at least 2 years of on-the-job training, or Certificate IV in Motor Mechanic
And/ or;
At least 5 years of experience working as a full-time Motor Mechanic
Duties and responsibilities
- Apply safe working practices
- Carry out diagnostic mechanic procedures
- Inspect and service braking systems
- Inspect, service and/or repair clutch assemblies, electrical faults and associated operating system components
- Inspect and service steering systems with the assistance of computers
- Inspect and service suspension systems
- Repair steering systems
- Repair suspension systems
- Remove, inspect, repair and fit engines, tyres and tubes
- Install and repair parts and perform scheduled maintenance services e.g. coilovers, engine tune-ups
- Deliver accurate Wheel Alignments
- High quality servicing and repairs on all makes and models of cars, 4WD’s, and light commercial vehicles
Salary package: $60,000 - $80,000 per year plus superannuation
