About the Role
As a Senior Library Experience Officer, you will play a key role in delivering best‑practice customer experiences and services aligned with our vision for the city. This hands‑on leadership role oversees day‑to‑day branch operations, ensuring quality customer service, programs, and collections.
* Provide support to our Library Experience Officers
* Resolve customer queries
* Deliver and promote a wide range of programs and events
* Contribute to working groups focused on programs, collections, technology, and heritage
* Champion process improvements across our service and facilitate our community's digital literacy learning journeys
About You
To be successful in this role you will have a Certificate III in Library and Information Services, or equivalent experience in a customer service or library environment. You will bring with you a passion for community engagement and will thrive in a customer‑focused environment.
* Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities
* Advanced digital literacy and adaptability to emerging technologies
* Current NSW Working with Children Check
* Willingness to work a rotating roster, that includes regular weekend work and evenings

* Salary ranging $70,728 up to $78,509 per year based on demonstrated experience + 12% p.a. super + weekend penalty rates for shifts worked on Saturdays
