We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Development Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Coordinator of Children's Services in ensuring Council-managed and supported early years facilities are safe, compliant, and aligned with current and future community needs.
The successful candidate will provide oversight of maintenance schedules, building audits, and compliance with legislative and licensing standards. They will lead coordination between internal Council departments and external stakeholders such as the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA), Department of Education, and kindergarten service providers.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the development and implementation of infrastructure plans that meet the needs of early years facilities.
* Coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
* Providing support and guidance to Council staff on infrastructure development and early years planning.
