Our client is looking for an experienced and qualified Store Person to work alongside their Logistics Manager.
This is a full-time position; applicants will need experience within a Stores / Inventory environment. You will also be required to work productively and able to meet deadlines whilst working within a team. A background in the automotive parts environment would be beneficial.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Unpacking and checking stock against delivery docket
- Picking, packing, and dispatching orders
- Assist with regular stock take, cycle count procedures and location reports
- Ensure receipting and dispatch administration procedure is completed accurately
- Inspect and maintain items as per quality control techniques
- General store and housekeeping duties
- Active involvement in the continuous improvement of the supply chain process.
- **Use of Forklift - load and unload of trucks, unloading containers**
**Key Criteria**
- **A current manual Driver's Licence**:
- **A current High Risk Forklift Licence (LF)**:
- Previous experience in warehouse operations
- A good understanding of computers with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and health
- Highly customer service focused
- Excellent organisation and customer service skills
