We are seeking a Quality & Safety Coordinator to support the day-to-day operation of our Quality Management System and workplace Safety processes.
Working closely with the Quality Manager and operational teams, this role plays an important part in maintaining compliance with ISO 9001, Customer Audit requirements (TGA/FDA), and robust workplace Safety standards.
This role suits someone with a science or technical background who enjoys working closely with operations to ensure processes are followed, documentation is maintained, and quality standards are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
Quality & Compliance
* Support the day-to-day operation of the Quality Management System
* Maintain quality documentation, records and process controls
* Conduct routine internal checks and audits of operational processes
* Coordinate sterility and environmental monitoring checks
* Ensure operator sign-offs and training records are maintained
Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions
* Record and investigate quality non-conformances
* Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions
* Track and follow up actions with operational teams
* Support communication with customers where required
Customer & Audit Support
* Assist with preparation for customer and regulatory audits
* Maintain quality records and supporting documentation
* Respond to customer quality enquiries and information requests
Equipment & Process Support
* Support calibration and validation schedules for specialised equipment
* Work with operations and maintenance teams to ensure compliance with required standards
Safety Support
* Assist with incident and hazard reporting processes
* Maintain safety registers and documentation
* Support risk assessments and safe work procedures
* Help promote a positive workplace safety culture
About You
* Degree in Science, Engineering or a related technical field preferred
* 3-5+ years experience in a Quality, Compliance or Technical role
* Experience working within ISO 9001 or similar quality systems
* Exposure to regulated or controlled environments highly regarded
* Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
* Comfortable working closely with operational teams
* Strong communication and organisational skills
Experience with cleanroom operations, GMP environments or industrial processing environments will be highly regarded.
