Overview
An opportunity has become available for a Part time Laboratory Technician (20 hours per week) at our Clayton, VIC.
The position involves working in a fast-paced environment and will suit individuals who take pride in accuracy and have a strong customer focus. You will be part of an experienced and dedicated team with exposure to a wide diversity of work. The successful applicant will be an experienced Laboratory Technician/Technical Officer with the ability to participate in a 7-day rotating roster that includes night and afternoon shifts.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to a fast-paced laboratory environment and ensure high levels of accuracy.
* Participate in a 7-day rotating roster, including night and afternoon shifts.
* Work as part of an experienced and dedicated team with exposure to a wide diversity of work.
Qualifications
* Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
* Previous experience in molecular diagnostic techniques such as PCR, NIPT (Harmony), qPCR, NGS, ddPCR; MassARRAY beneficial.
* High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Enthusiastic and flexible approach to work; ability to work effectively as part of a team.
