During the off season this position will work on various projects and preventive maintenance. This is a full-time year-round benefit eligible position, paid at $30.00 - $35.00/hr, based on experience.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES*** Install, assemble, maintain, and repair pipes and plumbing fixtures* Ability to braze and solder pipes and tubes* Locate and repair water line leaks and remove clogs* Diagnose plumbing problems and work to resolve any issues* Determine and order materials for each project* Perform pressure tests on air and water systems* Other general maintenance duties as needed and assigned* Respond to and close work orders in a timely fashion* Additional duties as assigned **QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS*** High School Diploma, or equivalent* Proof of completed apprenticeship* 3+ years related experience* Must have valid VT Journeyman Plumbing License* A general understanding and working knowledge of mechanical systems, i.e. heating, electrical and plumbing, is required for this position.* Ability to read technical designs and blueprints* Proficiency using plumbing tools, materials, and equipment* Expert knowledge in piping and ventilation systems* Understands state regulations and local building codes* Experience with oil and gas boilers* Must be a strong independent and collaborative worker**TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS**Vehicle provided for travel on the mountain.
