Public Relations Account Manager
Burson is the global communications leader built to create value for clients through reputation. We're looking for an experienced Consumer Account Manager with a sharp eye for detail, a strategic mindset, and a collaborative spirit.
* Create PR campaigns that drive results, manage client activity, and ensure timely execution of deliverables.
* Develop and maintain key account tools such as coverage trackers, media lists, influencer databases, and shared folders.
* Act as event lead for brand activations or media-facing experiences.
* Align client work with brand tone, messaging, and KPIs.
* Build relationships with top-tier media and influencer contacts, securing interviews, feature coverage, and media appointments.
* Lead junior team members in growing their networks, introducing them to key contacts.
* Stay across industry news and media landscape shifts.
* Gain a deep understanding of clients' brands, products, markets, and competitors.
* Lead regular project briefings, WIP meetings, and ongoing communications with clients.
* Respond to client needs, coordinating across teams.
* Bring creative thinking to campaign strategy, exploring partnerships, social content, and brand collaborations.
* Support and guide junior team members in all areas of account work.
* Maintain open communication with Client Leads on account status, performance, and team development.
* Contribute to new business proposals, decks, and meetings.
* Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts, monitoring run rates and timesheets.
* Own the development of case studies highlighting strong results.
* Explore digital, internal comms, and content areas beyond traditional PR.
