Flinders House is a brand-new 104-bed residential aged care facility opening in Tannum Sands this August. We are looking for an exceptional Facility Manager to join us ahead of opening, someone who is motivated to build a team, shape a strong culture, and lead an aged care facility the local community will be proud of.
This is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of aged care in Tannum Sands. With the support of experienced directors, you will create the culture and systems from the ground up, setting the tone, the standards, and the way care is delivered from day one.
Role Description
As Facility Manager, you will:
* Lead the operational, clinical, and financial performance of Flinders House
* Recruit, onboard, and develop your leadership and care teams prior to opening
* Drive occupancy and sustainable growth in partnership with the directors
* Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements
* Build strong relationships with residents, families, GPs, Allied health professionals and the wider community
* Be a visible, trusted leader in Tannum Sands and the Gladstone region
About You
You are a professional and capable leader within healthcare, with experience in aged care or a similar environment. You combine strong commercial awareness with a genuine commitment to quality care and service delivery, and you are ready to take ownership and make a lasting impact.
You will bring:
* Experience as a Facility Manager or in a senior leadership role within a health care setting
* Strong understanding of aged care funding, compliance, and quality standards
* Proven ability to establish and manage budgets, occupancy, and overall performance
* Experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* AHPRA registration
