As a Tax Professional, you'll play a vital role in offering our clients tailored solutions, from compliance and risk management to strategic tax planning, structuring and transactional technology solutions.
What you'll do
* Understand clients' unique needs as a trusted tax professional.
* Support Australia's most iconic clients across financial services to navigate the changing tax landscape and build trusted relationships.
* Manage client portfolios and drive relationships across industry specialisations, liaising with relevant taxation authorities.
* Support complex and strategic tax projects, gaining exposure to Corporate and Global tax business areas such as Tax Controversy, US Tax Advisory Services, GST and Real Estate & Infrastructure Tax.
* Proactively manage clients' Australian tax obligations through a strong understanding of their circumstances and requirements.
* Develop strategies for working as a team to solve complex tax technical questions and deliver on client timelines.
* Drive the use of technology to enhance the compliance processes for clients and the wider tax business.
* Show a passion for being at the forefront of change and help the Tax team navigate an increasingly complex tax environment through innovative solutions.
* Show a keen interest in technology and an understanding of the benefits of automation.
* Coach, mentor and develop junior team members.
What we're looking for
* Bachelor's degree in a related field.
* Postgraduate qualifications such as an MBA or a master's are highly regarded.
* Experience delivering tax advisory and compliance services in a Big 4, mid‐tier, or law firm environment.
* A good understanding of the Australian tax market with exposure to international markets.
* Use data analytics to provide relevant insights for decision‐making.
* Partner with clients to provide assistance with regulatory reviews, investigations and disclosures.
* Efficient with an eye for detail and strong research and problem‐solving skills.
* Strong collaboration, interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with excellent business writing and Excel skills.

The minimum salary for a Senior Associate in this role is AUD 89,100 inclusive of superannuation. Higher grades will receive a salary range above this in line with the salary bands for these positions.
