THE OPPORTUNITY
Thiess is currently seeking a
Health, Safety & Training Administrator
to join our Peak Downs Project in the Bowen Basin, Moranbah.
Working a 9-day fortnight, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Providing administrative support to the HS&T Manager, Training Coordinator and Health & Safety Advisors
* Managing and raising department specific purchase orders
* Managing and processing department specific invoices
* Ensuring compliance with the Coal Mine Workers Health Scheme.
* Data management of the client and Thiess Incident Management Systems
* Assisting the HS&T team in compiling and preparing monthly reports.
* Performing other duties as defined by the HS&T Manager.

Requirements
* Previous experience as a Health Safety and Training Administrator within a resources, construction or similar industry would be considered advantageous
* High level of organisational and time management skills
* Highly motivated and committed to meeting deadlines and delivering results
* Ability to work well in a high-volume busy work environment
* Proficiency in MS Office (specifically strong excel skills)
* Strong attention to detail
