Job Description
The Trustee for RK Everlasting Family Trust Signarama Rockingham is seeking a skilled and creative Signwriter to join its professional signage production team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, producing and installing high-quality signs and graphics for businesses across various industries. This role involves working with digital printing, vinyl applications, vehicle graphics, and illuminated signage while ensuring excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Working within a fast-paced signage production environment, you will collaborate with designers, installers and clients to create impactful signage solutions that enhance business branding and visibility. Benefits Competitive salary based on experience and skills Full-time stable employment in an established signage business Opportunity to work on diverse signage projects including vehicle wraps and illuminated signs Supportive team environment and professional workplace culture Ongoing training and opportunities to develop advanced signage skills Exposure to modern signage technologies and equipment Task & responsibilities Design, produce and install a variety of signs including building signage, window graphics and vehicle wraps Apply vinyl lettering, decals and digital prints to surfaces including vehicles, walls and shopfronts Fabricate and assemble signage materials such as acrylic, aluminium, PVC and composite panels Operate signage production equipment including plotters, printers and cutting machines Prepare surfaces for sign installation including cleaning, measuring and alignment Install indoor and outdoor signage ensuring structural safety and visual accuracy Interpret client artwork, design briefs and specifications Maintain quality control standards throughout the production and installation process Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and installation guidelines Maintain tools, equipment and workshop materials in good working order. Qualification & experience Certificate III in Signs and Graphics or equivalent trade qualification Minimum 1 years’ relevant experience in signage production or signwriting Experience with vinyl application, digital printing and signage installation Knowledge of signage materials, fabrication techniques and finishing processes Ability to read design layouts and technical drawings Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver’s licence (preferred for installation work) Experience with design software such as Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW advantageous
