Position Type: Casual (Seasonal)
The Geelong College is seeking an experienced and motivated First Team Hockey Coach to lead the school's top-level team. This casual role involves coaching players to develop skills, fitness, and game strategies while fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive playing experience.
Hours: Flexible, approximately 6-12 hours per week, including two training sessions and Saturday competitions.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Evidence of Right to Work in Australia
* Have completed the College Anaphylaxis qualification or 22578VIC anaphylaxis qualification
* Hold a current first aid (HLTAID 011) and CPR (TLAID 009)
* Holder of current Working with Children Check (WWCC), or ability to obtain
* Completion of the Asthma First Aid for Schools Certificate
* Previous experience working specifically with children and/or adolescents
* Ability to interact and communicate with students and other members of staff
* Have completed the Protecting Children - Mandatory Reporting and other Obligations module - The Victorian Department of Education and Training (DET)
* Level 1 Coach Accreditation (desirable)
