Food Services Assistant (FSA) – Regi age‑care facilities
The opportunity
FSA support high‑quality catering services within our residential homes. You partner with clinical and care teams to deliver nutritious meals, ensuring top food safety and hygiene standards. Your work promotes residents' health and well‑being.
The important role you will play
* Set up each servery and dining area ready for each meal period in line with Regi standards.
* Set up trolleys for tea breaks and supper.
* Wash dishes and clean according to the Food Safety Program.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of areas where food is prepared and served.
* Assist with meal preparation when required.
* Monitor and record requirements of the Food Safety Plan, such as temperatures, cleaning schedules, receipt of goods, etc.
What You Will Bring To The Role
* Previous experience providing catering assistance or hospitality in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
* Demonstrated knowledge of Australian Food Standards and Food Safety.
* Good communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and accurately and to communicate effectively.
* Team‑player ability to prioritise and adapt to various ways of supporting residents.
* Digital literacy.

To work in residential aged care you must provide satisfactory background checks, including NDIS or police check (role dependent), current year flu vaccination, and certification proof.
