About the role
We're seeking a proactive Reliability & Maintenance Planner Administrator to join our team in Mooroopna, VIC. Reporting to the Reliability & Maintenance Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of our packing and production assets. This role combines planning and administration to keep maintenance activities on track, support equipment reliability, and minimise downtime so our operations can run at their best.
Role Responsibilities
Consolidate and maintain preventive maintenance schedules in alignment with production plans.
Prepare weekly and monthly maintenance work plans, ensuring resources, parts, and permits are available.
Create, update, and close work orders in MEX (CMMS), maintaining accurate asset history and parts usage.
Track and report on asset reliability KPIs, assisting with root cause analysis and improvement actions.
Manage maintenance documentation, contractor compliance, and service contracts.
Support WHS compliance, ensuring all maintenance activities meet legislative and company safety standards.
Coordinate spare parts availability and inventory requirements with Stores/Procurement.
Skills and Experience
Previous experience in maintenance planning, administration, or coordination (manufacturing or agricultural/packing environment preferred).
Proficiency in CMMS (e.g., MEX, Pronto, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance principles.
Working knowledge of WHS requirements in an industrial setting.
(Desirable) Trade qualification or engineering background (mechanical or electrical).
(Desirable) Experience in food processing or fresh produce environments, with familiarity in GMP or reliability-centred maintenance practices.
