The Opportunity
As the Waste Administration Officer, you'll provide a high level of administrative support for the Council's Waste and Resource Recovery Unit, ensuring that administration is conducted in an efficient manner and to a consistent high standard.
You will be the first point of contact for all enquiries, assist with data entry, report entry, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes.
This is a part time 0.5EFT, ongoing position.
Key Selection Criteria
* Relevant qualification in administration or office management and/or a minimum of 2 years' experience in administration role.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Well-developed I.T. skills and knowledge of relevant software.
* Ability to work in a team environment and the ability to operate independently when required.
* Ability to use initiative and willingness to learn.
* Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
* Able to manage time and workload.
If successful, you will need to undertake a police check. You must also be legally entitled to work in Australia.
