Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Lead to oversee our SAP systems. This pivotal role involves leading a team of SAP Basis professionals, overseeing design, implementation, and optimization of SAP environments including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and Solution Manager.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in system upgrades, patches, and migrations ensuring seamless transitions. Additionally, they will be responsible for managing and mentoring SAP Basis consultants fostering technical excellence and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee system upgrades, patches, and migrations ensuring seamless transitions.
* Manage and mentor SAP Basis consultants fostering technical excellence and growth.
* Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement tuning strategies to optimize resource utilization and response times.
* Design and implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions ensuring business continuity.
* Use SAP Basis and HANA for sizing and architecture design, environment setup, performance tuning, SAP application upgrades, HANA upgrades, and disaster recovery setups.
* Deliver detailed technical design specifications for changes and enhancements.
* Complete SAP upgrades on SAP S/4 HANA, PI, and BI technologies.
* Maintain multi-landscape environments through client copies, system refreshes, and transport management using Solution Manager.
* Develop and implement security measures providing data integrity and confidentiality.
* Work across functional support areas to tune SAP Applications for optimal performance.
* Evaluate enterprise-wide SAP application systems and develop analysis reports and recommendations.
* Ensure compliance with security standards managing user roles, authorizations, and SAP security configurations.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, the candidate must have the following qualifications:
* 10+ years of experience in SAP BASIS.
* Working experience with S/4HANA & SAP FIORI integration.
* Cloud Experience – Installations and Migrations to Cloud, strong knowledge of VM provisioning in AWS or other cloud vendors.
* Experience in design, configuration, and testing of core SAP S/4HANA.
* Strong exposure towards any cloud, preferably AWS.
* Strong knowledge of Setup and operation knowledge on Solution Manager features like CHARM, Technical Monitoring, etc.
* Experience with SAP Solution Manager for monitoring, change management, and technical operations.
* SAP certifications, such as SAP Certified Technology Associate – System Administration (SAP HANA) or SAP Certified Technology Professional – S/4HANA.
* Led SAP S/4HANA migrations reducing system downtime and improving performance.
