We are partnering with a leading Queensland Government client to recruit experienced Project Advisor. In this role, you will provide high level administrative and project support services to various project teams to ensure the efficient administration of the projects, and adherence to organisational policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the smooth functioning of meetings by preparing agendas, distributing documents, minuting sessions, and tracking all follow-up actions and decisions.
* Facilitate internal risk workshops; track identified risks, learnings, and issues, and work with project teams to develop robust mitigation strategies.
* Manage the document review process, draft and update project management plans, and maintain comprehensive records and archives.
* Assist Project Managers with "Health Checks," surveillance activities, and tracking project schedules, budgets, and resource usage against KPIs.
* Coordinate tender and procurement processes and conduct quality checks to ensure project deliverables meet defined standards.
* Oversee project team management (FWAs, training, PPE), manage project mailboxes, and lead project support administrative staff.
* Research and prepare high-level documentation including briefing notes, submissions, data analysis, and project performance reports

* Proven ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including those at a senior level.
* Exceptional ability to express ideas clearly via speech and writing, with the ability to persuade and influence others.
* A professional who leads by example, promoting cooperation and teamwork to achieve collective outcomes.
* Experience navigating government guidelines, policies, and protocols is highly regarded.
* Proficiency in undertaking high-level data analysis and reviewing complex correspondence to identify emerging risks.
