Job Description
This permanent, part-time opportunity offers hands-on experience in the OSHC industry. You will be supported by a Director of Service to ensure you have everything you need to thrive in your role.

Moorabbin, VIC, 3189
Work Schedule
You will work across split shifts, Monday to Friday: Before School Care 6.45am - 8.45am; After School Care 3:00pm - 6.15pm. Total hours per week: 26.25.
The Role
As the Second in Charge (2IC), you will be a key leader in delivering high-quality care and creating memorable experiences for the children in our service. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about childcare and leadership, ready to make a meaningful impact on the children, parents, and team.
Responsibilities
* Engage with the school community, attending events and assemblies.
* Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program.
* Foster genuine relationships with children and their families.
* Play and have fun with primary school aged children.
* Support to ensure the program complies with industry regulations.
The Successful Candidate
* Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is not essential — training is available.
* Thrives in a fast-paced environment and maintains a positive, child-focused attitude.
* Confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals.
* Strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.
* Passionate about Creating Enriching Experiences For Primary-aged Children.
* Energetic, enthusiastic, and loves to have fun.
* Diploma qualification (or equivalent) and working towards it, as per ACECQA standards.
